Covid-19 Guidelines for Wilderness Cove – Phase II

​Due to Governor Cooper’s Executive Order about face coverings: Starting Saturday, June 27, 2020 face coverings will be required on all bus trips and in any area that you cannot socially distance away from others not in your group. Please bring your own covering from home as we will only have a limited supply available for purchase. Bandanas and gaiters may be easier to secure going downriver than other types of coverings.  We appreciate your support and understanding as we are happy to be open and able to serve you!

Tubing Guidelines:

Socially Distance in all areas (6 ft minimum)

Do not enter any enclosed space if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms - Stay Home!

Send as few people as needed into office to pay/try on shoes/etc

Only 2 groups in tubing office at a time

Wait for the group in front of you to exit completely before entering

Sanitize your hands!

Be Courteous to staff and other patrons



Socially Distance in line (6 feet)

Stay Home if you are sick!

Wait for the exiting person to completely move through the entryway before entering at each building

Wash hands!

Be courteous to others- do not approach other campsites/cabins

*Dogs not on a leash at all times will be removed from the property- no refunds/no warnings*



Follow bus driver’s orders

Enter 1 at a time, allow all passenger’s to get off before entering

Be courteous to those around you and behave

Only sit with your group

Do Not Overcrowd

Socially distance at all waiting areas, Put-ins, and Take-outs

Do not crowd the driver or other employees
